Sharing

In Lleverage, sharing workflows requires adding users to your project first. This documentation explains how to manage project members and share access to your workflows with team members in a controlled manner.

Key Features

  • Role-based access control for projects

  • Two permission levels: Project Member and Project Owner

  • Organization-level user management

  • Project-specific member management

  • Access restrictions based on project membership

How to Access Project Settings

  1. Navigate to the platform view by clicking the Lleverage logo in the top left corner

  2. Alternatively, hover your cursor to the left edge of the screen in workflow canvas view

  3. Look for the project selector at the bottom of the left navigation panel

  4. Click the people icon (collaboration icon) next to the project selector

  5. The Project Settings panel will open on the right side

💡 The project selector is located at the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel and displays your current project name.

How to View and Edit Project Members

  1. In the Project Settings panel, select the "Project Members" tab

  2. You'll see a list of all current project members

  3. Each member has their role displayed next to their name

  4. To change a member's role, click the dropdown next to their name

  5. Select either "Project Member" or "Project Owner"

  6. To remove a member, click the remove option next to their name

💡 Project Members can view workflows, while Project Owners have full access including editing capabilities.

How to Add Existing Organization Members to a Project

  1. In the Project Settings panel under the "Project Members" tab

  2. Scroll down to the "Add Project Collaborators" section

  3. You'll see a list of all organization members not yet added to the project

  4. Select the members you want to add to the project

  5. Choose their role (Project Member or Project Owner)

  6. Confirm to add them to the project

⚠️ Users cannot access a workflow until they are added as members of the project, even if they have the workflow URL.

How to Add New Users to Your Organization

  1. Click on your name/profile in the navigation panel

  2. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu

  3. Navigate to the "Members" tab

  4. Click "Invite Member"

  5. Enter their email address

  6. Optionally, select project access for the new member

  7. Send the invitation

💡 You must have appropriate permissions at the organization level to add new members.

How to Share Workflows with Team Members

  1. First, ensure the user is added to your organization

  2. Add the user to the specific project containing the workflow

  3. Assign them the appropriate role (Member for view access, Owner for edit access)

  4. Now they can access the workflow through the platform

  5. Alternatively, you can share the published workflow URL with them

⚠️ Remember that sharing a workflow URL will only work if the recipient is already a member of the project.

Best Practices for Workflow Sharing

  1. Audit project memberships regularly to ensure appropriate access

  2. Use Project Member role for users who only need to run workflows

  3. Reserve Project Owner role for users who need to edit workflows

  4. Remove access promptly when a team member no longer requires it

  5. Consider creating separate projects for different teams or departments

💡 For quick access to the organization members page from project settings, look for the shortcut link at the bottom of the Project Members tab.
