Use these capabilities when a straightforward sequence of actions is not enough.

• Subworkflows break reusable execution into smaller Workflows.

• Agent lets a Workflow delegate a bounded step to the Agent harness.

• AI actions provide model-powered operations such as prompting, evaluation or categorisation.

• Custom Code handles transformations or logic that are clearer in code than in canvas primitives.

These capabilities increase flexibility, but also increase the number of runtime behaviours you need to test. Prefer the simplest execution model that reliably handles the work.
